The planned closure of the Navajo Generating Station near Page could result in the loss of nearly 800 jobs. Arizona Public Radio’s Ryan Heinsius reports, Navajo Nation officials recently met with coal miners who face layoffs if a deal isn’t reached to keep it open. 


The Arizona Supreme Court on Tuesday rejected a challenge brought by business groups to a minimum wage increase approved by voters in the November election.

Arizona Supreme Court justices weighing a challenge to a voter-approved increase in the minimum wage appeared to question Thursday how they could overturn the measure and still leave intact citizens' right to pass laws that's been in place since statehood.
