Environmental and social advocates gathered Tuesday outside Flagstaff City Hall to condemn President Trump and Arizona Senator Jeff Flake for failing to act on climate change. KNAU’s Ryan Heinsius reports. 


The Coconino National Forest will begin stage II fire restrictions Thursday morning at 8 a.m. It bans all campfires and charcoal and wood stoves, even in developed areas, along with many other fire-causing activities.

Forest Service fire managers report significant progress fighting the 6,634-acre Highline Fire north of Payson. KNAU’s Ryan Heinsius reports, it’s now 76 percent contained and all evacuation orders have been lifted.
