The Arizona Legislature is expected to push to adjourn its 2017 session following the passage of a $9.8 billion budget for the coming fiscal year.

The Arizona House has passed the budget package, and it now moves on to the desk of Republican Gov. Doug Ducey for his anticipated signature.

Republican Arizona lawmakers are horse-trading to secure enough votes to pass a $9.8 billion state budget package that includes a $1 billion university construction loan package.

 

The public will have just one day to weigh in on a $9.8 billion state spending plan that Republican lawmakers and Gov. Doug Ducey have agreed upon.
