Valley Serial Shooter Sentenced

Flagstaff, AZ – Serial shooter Samuel Dieteman has been spared the death penalty. A jury sentenced Dieteman yesterday to life in prison for his role in a series of random nighttime shootings in 2005 that left eight people dead and Phoenix neighborhoods on edge. Dieteman pleaded guilty to two of the six murders in the serial shooter case. His partner in the attacks, Dale Hausner, was convicted of six murders. He was sentenced to six death sentences earlier this year.
