NAU's Green Buildings Combat Climate Change

All this year, NPR is presenting its series Climate Connections: reports on how people affect climate, and how that changing climate affects people. And every Friday this month, KNAU will bring you local and regional stories on the changing climate here in northern Arizona.
College campuses have long been incubators for social change, from anti-war to civil rights movements. Now they're taking a leading role in the fight against climate change. More than 300 colleges and universities have pledged to become carbon neutral, including Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. Arizona Public Radio's Matthew DeLong reports.
