Ducey Signs Teen Driver Texting Ban

AZ Family

Arizona Governor Doug Ducey has signed a law that bans texting while driving for minors with a learner’s permit and during their first six months with a license.

The governor says he usually opposes such blanket restrictions, but favors this measure because it applies to minors. Arizona is one of four states that doesn’t have an across the board texting while driving ban, but Ducey says he'd support such a bill that applies to all minors.
