Flagstaff, AZ – Governor Jan Brewer appointed Ben Grumbles to head up the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality. Grumbles comes to Arizona from Washington where he worked for the Environmental Protection Agency's water division. He faces a lot of challenges when he takes over the department in June including the budget crisis, a plan to register industries' greenhouse gas emissions and a recent moratorium on environmental regulations. Arizona Public Radio's Laurel Morales recently talked to him about how he plans to tackle these issues.
