All Arizona Delegates Vote Trump at RNC

AP

All 58 of Arizona's Republican National Convention votes have been cast for Donald Trump.

The vote tally announced by state party Chairman Robert Graham came despite vows by some anti-Trump delegates to force a formal count of the delegates or to walk out of the convention hall in Cleveland.

The announcement came during Tuesday's formal roll call vote of the states.

Graham's announcement was delivered in classic convention form:

"From the hottest state in the country for job growth, Arizona delivers 58 bound votes to the nominee, Donald J. Trump, the next president of the United States of America!" Graham announced to cheers.

Arizona delegate Jarrod White had said he and some other delegates were considering not voting, refusing to vote or trying to challenge the delegation vote tally.
